The Bower has commissioned Thursley Radio to produce a radio show responding to the documentaries Poly Styrene: I Am a Cliché and Sisters With Transistors and exploring women in music with Irene Revell and Zakia Sewell.
Mary Hurrell is an interdisciplinary artist working across sound, performance, sculpture and text, to explore choreography of the body and its incorporeal fluidity. She is interested in forms of language and movement in relation to physical and psychological experience; drawing on themes of desire, water and the perceptual and sensory fields of the body.
